Event Overview
Looking to take your running to the next level? Whether you're stepping up from 7K to 10K, aiming for your first half marathon, or pushing towards a marathon or ultra, this flexible event is designed to support your journey.

Our courses are based on 7K or 10K loops, allowing you to choose your distance on the day. You can complete anything from a single loop to a full ultra marathon—whatever suits your goals. If you decide to stop at a shorter distance, you’ll still be included in that race category.

The looped format also makes this an ideal event for testing kit, nutrition, and pacing strategies, with easy access to your own drop bag throughout.


Course Details

Courses 1, 2 & 3

  • Start: 09:00 | Finish: 18:00 (9-hour limit)
  • Distances: 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon, 40-mile Ultra
  • Route: 10.8K loop (approx. 80% trail, 20% road), including public footpaths and woodland
  • Elevation: Approx. 2,100 ft over 6 laps

Courses 4, 5 & 6

  • Start: 09:00 | Finish: 17:00 (8-hour limit)
  • Distances: 7K, 14K, Half Marathon, Marathon, 30-mile Ultra

Event Features

  • Aid Station: Located at the start/finish area, offering water, soft drinks, and vegan/vegetarian food
  • Course Marking: Clearly marked and easy to follow, with well-signposted road crossings
  • Pacers: Welcome at any stage of the event
  • Crew Support: Crew members may support runners anywhere along the course
  • Medics: Qualified medical support will be available throughout

Prizes
Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each distance category (7K, 10K, 14K, Half Marathon, and Ultra).


Entry Requirements
Open to all abilities—participants should be comfortable walking or running at least 7K.


Recommended Kit

  • Water bottle (minimum 500ml capacity)
  • Fully charged mobile phone
  • Head torch (winter events only)
  • Weather-appropriate clothing (jacket, hat, gloves)
  • Reusable cup

Additional items can be left at your designated drop bag area.
